This privacy policy explains the information I collect when you use my services, how I use it and the measures I take to ensure that your data is secure.  The policy also outlines your options regarding how your information is used, including how to access, update, or object to certain uses of your data.

3. Contents of the personal data file.

I collect information about you when you share it with me or use my services. This will include basic personal information such as names, ages and contact details so that I may provide information to you and create accurate quotes.

Details about preferences regarding direct marketing. 

I am an independent travel expert at Travel Counsellors and will share your data with them in order to provide services in relation to bookings, quotes and information requested and required. 5. Security of the personal data file

Any tool used to interact with the data shall be protected by industry standard measures and the Controller shall ensure that those tools comply with GDPR and other applicable regulations.


My website ensures data protection by utilizing SSL encryption for all website traffic, automatically providing free SSL certificates to all domains, which prevents hackers from stealing sensitive information like email addresses submitted on a site. There is also a Security Operations Center (SOC) that monitors for threats and vulnerabilities 24/7, and complies with global privacy standards to protect customer data. 

I follow all Data Protection Policies and use security measures such as secure password protected access to the Travel Counsellors' in-house computer systems.

6. Opt out of data collection and usage.

The registered party has a right to opt out from any data collected or restrict how it is used. If you wish to do either, please contact us in writing at the email address given in section 1 or click unsubscribe on your newsletter.

7.  Mailing List

When you are added to the mailing list, you will receive a company newsletter. The contents of the newsletter include travel trends, ideas and tips, free resources, updates on my services and offers and snippets of the journey as a Travel Consultancy. Our service provider for email marketing is FloDesk and this is their privacy policy. You always have the option of unsubscribing from our mailing list.

Information collected by us for our mailing list includes:

  • First name

  • Last name

  • Email address

  • Products downloaded

  • Interactions with emails

8. Cookies

Cookies are pieces of data that sites and services can set on your browser or device that can be read on future visits. These cookies are not harmful to you or your computer, but they help us serve our audience better. With the help of cookies we can keep track of our visitors and analyze the website’s traffic. The cookies do not identify individual visitors. We may use this data to further improve our services and in marketing campaigns.

We may use third party web site analytic tools such as Google Analytics or Squarespace’s own site analytics on our website that employ cookies to collect information concerning your use of our website. For example, we may collect information such as your browser type, pages visited within our website, time of visit, your approximate geographical location and how long you spent on our website. We additionally use technologies like single-pixel gifs to record data such as open rates of the emails sent out by our system.

9.  Children

Controller provides travel quotes to clients and thereby does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you suspect that your child has provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately. We will promptly remove such information from our records.
